1- Work towards acceptance into Nursing School:

The Registered Nursing program is very competitive, and University of Hawaii Maui highly recommends Nurse Aide School to be accepted to the program along with 6 months of paid healthcare work experience. Prerequisites do vary state by state, and graduation from Nurse Aide school adds very valuable work experience towards being accepted into Nursing school.

2- Start a Career in Healthcare and can’t afford the CNA Training Classes:

Free CNA Training Applicants must have graduated from high school or earned a GED.

New CNA classes begin monthly, with flexible options for week-day evenings or weekend-only classes. We eveMauin pay for the Prometric test for State of Hawaii certification upon graduating from CNA training.

OCM Managers/Supervisors meet Nurse Aides on-site with every patient so they are never alone trying to figure out the best way to help a patient they haven’t met before. Our thorough On-site Staff Training supplements our classroom training while encouraging the growth and confidence of our team.
