Gena knew that she wanted to be able to help people from a young age and her interest in nursing began while she was in high school. After graduating, she received her CNA license and then attended the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College, where she graduated with a B.S. in Nursing.

Gena has extensive experience with managing caregiving teams and working directly with patients and their families. Her experience includes pediatrics, geriatrics and working with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.

As a Care Manager, she will utilize her years of experience to help manage and lead a team of CNAs and caregivers with the goals of maintaining the high-quality care that Ohana Care Maui is known for, and creating strong, supportive relationships with her team, our clients and their ohana’s.
